Where you will never pay to publish and your university will pay a reasonable amount to provide you (and everyone else) access to all research results? Where journals will not be the ones who determine the "impact" of your work? In this discussion we'll talk about how scientific journals can be a thing of the past depending on the choices you make now. Abeni has a PhD in molecular physics and now spends all her time working at the forward edge of this transition. She'll speak from the perspective of someone whose company is trying to provide a global, agile, and sustainable alternative to the way we currently publish results.
