I will introduce the Phase Diagram as function of number of flavors, colors and matter representation for any gauge theory of fundamental interactions. We will start by classifying the possible phases of a generic gauge theory. I will briefly review the various non-perturbative methods available, both for supersymmetric and non supersymmetric gauge theories, to tackle the associated nonperturbative dynamics.
Finally I will present the state of the art of the phase diagram for nonsupersymmetric gauge theories and its relevance for models of dynamical breaking of the electroweak theory as well as Unparticle physics.
