Understanding the origin of cosmic magnetism is one of the most challenging questions in modern astrophysics. It is natural to expect that a primordial magnetic field may have arisen in the extreme environment of the early universe either during Inflation or phase transitions. In this talk, I will discuss about the magneto-hydrodynamic evolution of different magnetogenesis scenarios with cosmological simulations. The talk will be focused on 1) the magnetized cosmic web and 2) the environment of galaxy clusters. In the latter case, the magnetic field amplification via a small-scale dynamo as galaxy clusters are formed will also be discussed.
