Title: Quantum mechanics of monopoles
 

Abstract: 
Quantum mechanics of a charged particle in the background of a magnetic monopole is a classic (and very beautiful!) piece of math physics. I’ll describe it in some detail, incl the Dirac quantization condition, monopole harmonics, fractional orbital momentum etc, and if time permits will talk about applications, e g to quantum anti-ferromagnets in 2+1d.
