Description
I will elaborate why it is essential to keep track of the null direction $u$ at null infinity $\mathscr{I}^\pm$ when constructing holography for asymptotically flat spacetimes and hence the Carrollian co-dimension one picture of this hologram is more "natural" than the Celestial one, which is co-dimension two. I will show how the Carroll picture and specifically Carrollian CFT correlations arise naturally from AdS_4/CFT_3 by looking at Witten diagrams in the flat space limit.
