Title: Holographic superconductors with Born-Infeld electrodynamics and noncommutative geometries.
Abstract: AdS/CFT correspondence can be used to analyze condensed matter systems, one of those are the holographic superconductors.
In this talk I analyze the behaviour of this type of systems using a noncommutative inspired anti-de Sitter Einstein-Born-Infeld black hole and the difficulties to introduce backreaction. Also I give a brief insight in holographic superconductors in Thurston geometries and the modifications required to study the Meissner effect in these systems.
