Description

There are various dark matter models intended to explain the small-scale inconsistencies found with the CDM model.
One such model is the interacting dark matter (IDM), specifically dark matter that interacts with photons.
To show the impact this model has on the EoR at large scales we simulated two 100 Mpc/h boxes with N-body and radiative transfer codes, with one using IDM as the model for DM and the other using CDM to serve as a comparison.
I will be showing a broad range of differences found between the simulations and what may become observational once the SKA becomes operational and the upper limit of the 21-cm line falls.
