Description

Scattering amplitudes in four-dimensional Minkowski space can be described in terms of a conformal field theory living on a 2-dimensional sphere located at the boundary of the spacetime. This new program has been coined as Celestial Holography. In this talk, we consider the task of computing celestial amplitudes in string theory. Concretely, we study the 4-graviton amplitude in closed superstring theory compactified on a 6-torus at one-loop. Lastly, we explore the field theory limit of this celestial string amplitude.
