About the speaker: Daniela Calzetti is a Distinguished Professor at the University of Massachusetts, USA. She has been investigating the properties of star formation and dust on the scales of galaxies in the local universe, using the information provided by a variety of both space-borne (Hubble, Spitzer, Herschel, JWST, etc.) and ground-based telescopes, at wavelengths that range from the ultraviolet to the radio.
