Venue
Nordita, Stockholm, Sweden
Scope
Long-range and light-mediated interactions in ultracold atoms and molecules are unlocking robust correlations, fast entanglement generation, supersolidity and quantum light–matter phases. This Nordita program convenes theorists and experimentalists to chart the next steps in continuum and lattice quantum simulators with tunable long-range couplings, with a focus on computational best practices and actionable experimental targets. Week 1 is a hands-on computational workshop on state-of-the-art methods for quantum simulation and machine learning-assisted analysis; Week 2 is a conference highlighting latest trends and milestones in dipolar gases and cavity QED with fermions/bosons. Focus will be put on nonequilibrium physics and Nordic perspectives. The conference is intended to be co-financed by Nordita and the Wenner-Gren Foundations, with matched support enabling broad participation of earlycareer researchers.
Application/Registration
Registration to be considered for on-site participation will close TBD. Registrants will receive an on-site/remote participation confirmation from the organizers after this date.
