I will discuss two notions of complexity in a family of three-dimensional gauge theories, using their gravitational duals. The first is computational complexity of thermofield double states, given by the volume of the dual Einstein-Rosen bridge. The second is Krylov spread complexity of one-particle states, encoded by the radial momentum of bulk excitations. Near a limit where the theories flow close to a CFT, both quantities show signs of “walking” dynamics. In the opposite limit, computational complexity is insensitive to the confining nature of the theory, but oscillation frequencies of the Krylov spread complexity are not.
