Abstract: I will present a study of electric dipole effects for
massive Dirac fermions in graphene. The dipole potential
accommodates towers of infinitely many bound states
exhibiting a universal Efimov-like scaling hierarchy.
The number of towers is determined by the strength of the
dipole moment, but at least one tower is always present.
The corresponding eigenstates show a characteristic angular
asymmetry, observable in tunnel spectroscopy. I will then
discuss the low-energy dipole scattering problem and show
that the charge transport properties inferred from scattering
states are highly isotropic.
