Description
I will discuss the thermodynamic properties of systems
consisting of interacting microscopic particles.
In particular I will first characterize the efficiency at
maximum power (EMP) in a system of interacting molecular
motors. I will then consider the case of a microscopic model
of coupled particles that exhibits a dynamical phase
transition from a desynchronized to a synchronized phase.
