Description
The Future Circular Hadron Hadron Collider (FCC-hh) is a project study aiming a centre-of-mass energy of 100 TeV with luminosity L= (5 –10)x10^34 cm2s-1 . A new tunnel with 80-100 km circumference is planned for the purpose of studying new physics at unprecedented high energies. An overview of the collider and the general detector concept will be presented. The potential of using the ATLAS Tile calorimeter concept with high granularity readout will be described.
