Description
M33 was mapped in the CO 2-1 transition with a resolution of 50 pc.
The IRAM M33 mapping project covers a complete area out to galactic radii of 7 kpc.
Combining these data with HI and and FIR dust measurements on similar scales allows
to extend the method used by Sandstroem 2011 by introducing an additional
local CO dark molecular gas column density. We discuss potential influence of key
parameters such galactic radius, metalicity and radiation field on the results and
compare them with star formation tracers.
