Description
Several works in holography has lent support on the
conjecture that there could be a universal speed limit for
the sound set by the conformal value. Further support
comes from kinetic theory and QCD. Yet, there are many
instances violating this bound. I furthermore present
several holographic models that break the speed barrier
and discuss their common denominator.
