The new physics with relativity, quantum physics and cosmology during the first decades of last century and the simultaneous modernism in arts with cubism, twelve-tone music and experimental literature, how did these revolutions affect each other? Or was there interaction more through the "Zeitgeist", and if so, in which respect? Such direct and indirect influences between science and arts are discussed in a new book, which is introduced in the seminar.
