I will describe a family of strongly coupled four-dimensional quantum field theories, with translational symmetry explictly broken by a position-dependent mass for some of the fields. This mass may be any holomorphic function of a complex coordinate in the field theory. The tools I will use to be able to describe such theories are holography and supersymmetry.
