Conference Dinner and Social Events
The conference dinner will be held on Thursday evening at Christ Church, one of Oxford's most historic and prestigious colleges.

The dress code is "smart", examples include:
- Dress shirt and slacks with an optional tie
- Skirt and blouse
- Dress
- Pantsuit or jumpsuit
- Suit
Formal evening wear is not required but strongly encouraged.
Further details regarding timing and transport will be shared closer to the conference date.
Social Programme
Pub Trip
We will organise an informal evening visit to a traditional Oxford pub.
This will be a relaxed opportunity to meet other participants. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.
Location and meeting point details will be provided during the conference.

Social Darts at Flight Club
Join fellow participants for a fun and informal game of social darts at Flight Club Oxford. No previous experience is required - the games are designed for everyone to enjoy. The activity lasts approximately one hour.

City and College Tour
Discover Oxford's rich history on a guided walking tour through the city centre, including visits to some of its famous colleges. The tour lasts approximately one hour.
Meeting points and timings will be announced during the conference.

Punting
Experience Oxford from the River Cherwell in traditional punts, one of the city's most iconic activities. This punting trip offers a unique perspective on Oxford's riverside scenery.
Please note: The activity starts and finishes at Cherwell Boathouse, approximately a 20-minute walk from the Department of Physics. The punting session ends at 5:30 pm, and it is not possible to leave before the end of the activity. Participants who need to depart during the afternoon should choose one of the other activities.
Punts will be shared in small groups and basic instructions will be provided. Comfortable clothing and suitable footwear are recommended.

Museum Visit
Explore Oxford's outstanding museums at your own pace. Participants may visit the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, the Ashmolean Museum, or both. This is a self-guided activity, and both museums are open until 5:00 pm.
