Description
New CMB measurements of the cosmic microwave background anisotropies permit to
place strong constraints on the DM annihilation cross section at epochs very close to
that of Recombination. Such constraints do not suffer from "systematic astrophysical
uncertinties" such as the dependence on the halo shape and concetration, halo minimal
mass, depending only on the cosmological parameters. I will discuss this and show the
most-up-to date constraints, which already rule-out "thermal" WIMPs with masses
below 10 GeV.
