Description
We present an update on efforts to reduce the radon
induced background in
the DRIFT-II direction sensitive WIMP dark matter detector
and the
implications of this for improving sensitivity to spin-
dependent
interactions with a galactic directional signature. New data
including
operation with a fluorine target is presented along with
concepts for
scale-up to a new 24 m3 experiment at the Boulby
underground site.
