Description
I will briefly talk on approximate global symmetries which can be
a dark energy symmetry and PQ symmetry. These are constructed
such that there is no gravity spoil of global symmetries.
For the QCD axion, it is suggested to use the anomalous U(1)
symmetry from string compactification, which gives a domain-wall
number 1 models.
