Description
Monte Carlo simulation of worldlines of quantum particles in
a path integral representation is a powerful tool mainly
used for studying boson systems. Such approaches have been
used to investigate properties of superfluid helium in
confined geometries and localization of bosons in a random
disorder potential. In particular we are interested in the
role of correlations of the disorder distribution. I will
introduce theoretical tools and techniques and discuss
opportunities, difficulties and challenges in this field.
