How to get there
To/From Keflavik International Airport
For transfers from/to Keflavik International Airport to/from Reykjavik there are buses, Airport Express or Flybus.
Both shuttles offer the possibility to reach directly your hotel. It can be booked in one of the websites above.
To/From the conference venue (Askja)

Otherwise, if you do not want
to walk, there
is the possibility to take buses:
- for example at the central bus station Hlemmur, 5 minute walk from the hotel. Here the map. There you can take bus number 15 (Bus stop:Íslensk Erfðagreinin). From Hlemmur you can also take either bus number 14 (Bus stop: Háskóli Íslands), or 12 (Bus stop: Háskólabíó) and then walk to Askja (it is a ten minute walk).
- Another option is to take the bus from Sæbraut/Frakkastígur, again number 14 (Bus stop: Háskóli Íslands), or 12 (Bus stop:Þjóðminjasafnið), or 1 (Bus stop: Háskóli Íslands), or 6 (Bus stop: Háskóli Íslands), or 3 (Bus stop: Háskóli Íslands) and then walk to Askja. Here the map.
To/From the conference venue from/to Hotel Metropolitan
