Description
The concept of "entwinement" originated in the ongoing
program of reconstructing spacetime from quantum
entanglement in holographic duality. We develop this notion,
which characterizes the amount of entanglement between
internal, discretely gauged degrees of freedom, from a
quantum field theory point of view.
