Save the date: OKC Day – 12 February

We are planning an OKC Day on Wednesday, 12 February, bringing the Oskar Klein Centre community together for a full-day meeting focused on five things: (1) a forward-looking overview of our science landscape, (2) a structured discussion about how we position OKC for the 2028–2032 period, (3) a discussion about the use of AI in education(4) social activities and team building at the centre, and (5) how we better engage with and support junior researchers across OKC by showcasing science and making resources and opportunities easier to find and act on (more on this later).

- short flash talks from junior researchers
- a dedicated segment highlighting practical support structures such as teaching development opportunities (e.g. CEUL workshops at SU), grant-writing support (SU central office and OKC initiatives), mentoring/advising practices across departments,
- ways to strengthen the OKC alumni network
- an open call where people can advertise informal activities that welcome newcomers—everything from ScientiFika to sports groups.

The program is still under construction and subject to change - your suggestions are welcome!
Contact: Samuel or Ariel.

We will end the day with a film viewing at Cosmonova (in English): https://www.nrm.se/vart-utbud/cosmonova/cosmonova/2025-10-27-deep-skyS
