Välkommen till det 17:e Svenska ekonomisk-historiska mötet, i samarbete med den 8:e årliga konferensen för Scandinavian Society for Economic and Social History

Institutionen för ekonomisk historia och internationella relationer vid Stockholms universitet och Institutet för ekonomisk-historisk och företagshistorisk forskning vid Handelshögskolan i Stockholm inbjuder härmed, på uppdrag av Scandinavian Society for Economic and Social History och Svenska ekonomisk-historiska föreningen, forskare till det sjuttonde Svenska ekonomisk-historiska mötet, som hålls tillsammans med den åttonde årliga konferensen för Scandinavian Society for Economic and Social History.
Svenska ekonomisk-historiska mötet har etablerat sig som ett viktigt forum för samarbete och samtal mellan ekonomhistoriker i Sverige, och i ökande grad även för kollegor från övriga Norden och därutöver. Mötet har ett brett deltagande av såväl doktorander som etablerade forskare. Sedan 2019 arrangeras mötet som en allnordisk konferens. Vi hoppas att konferensen ska locka ett brett internationellt deltagande.
Konferensen består huvudsakligen av parallella arbetspaneler som byggs upp kring förslag från bidragsgivare och tänkbara deltagare från hela Norden. Ett brett spektrum av ämnen kommer att diskuteras. Det blir också keynotepresentationer och särskilda tillfällen för doktorander att presentera sina avhandlingsprojekt. Programmet omfattar därtill administrativa möten för prefekter och studierektorer samt för de nationella och nordiska ekonomisk-historiska föreningarna.

The Department of Economic History and International Relations at Stockholm University and the Institute for Economic and Business History Research at the Stockholm School of Economics, on behalf of the Scandinavian Society for Economic and Social History and the Swedish Economic History Society, hereby invite scholars to the joint seventeenth biennial Swedish Economic History Meeting and the eighth annual Conference of the Scandinavian Society for Economic and Social History.
The Swedish Economic History Meeting has established itself as an important forum for collaboration and dialogue amongst economic historians in Sweden, and increasingly for colleagues from other Scandinavian countries and beyond. It is widely attended by PhD candidates as well as established researchers. Since 2019, the Meeting has been jointly organized as an All-Nordic conference. We hope that the conference will attract broad international participation.
The conference consists mainly of parallel working panels built around proposals from contributors and prospective attendees from all over Scandinavia. A wide range of subjects will be discussed. There will also be keynote presentations and special opportunities for doctoral students to present their thesis projects. The programme further includes administrative meetings for Heads of Department and Directors of Studies, and for the national and Scandinavian economic history associations.
