Description
Recent work on various models of quantum gravity suggests
that they exhibit scale dependence of the spectral
dimension. One of these models, the causal dynamical
triangulation, is based on an ensemble of random graphs
which suggests that this behaviour may be more generic. We
discuss how such a property may be formulated rigorously and
show that there are indeed well-defined ensembles of random
graphs in which the scale dependence of the spectral
dimension can be demonstrated.
