Description
We discuss connections between models of magnetism
exhibiting topological order and topological band insulators. In
this context, we also explore interaction effects in topological
insulators with particular emphasis on lattice models with
Dirac and quadratic band crossing points in the non-interacting
limit. Our work reveals connections between seemingly
unrelated topological systems.
