Description
Transforming one form of work into a different form can be
done with 100% efficiency. This upper limit has no practical
relevance since it requires a reversible operation and hence
leads to a zero power output. In this talk I will consider a
number of transformation processes and discuss the features
of efficiency at maximum power output.
