Description
The KM3 Neutrino Telescope (KM3NeT) will be a deep-sea multidisciplinary observatory
in the Mediterranean Sea. The Physics Laboratory of the Hellenic Open University is
involved in the characterization of KM3NeT components. The present work describes
measurement techniques for the functional characteristics of the candidate KM3NeT
photomultipliers. These characteristics include dark current, transit time spread,
gain slope and single photoelectron characteristics, as well as delayed and after pulses.
