In pursuing its objectives, the conference organizers oppose any discrimination on the basis of such factors as ethnic origin, religion, nationality, disability, physical appearance, political stance, gender identity, sexual orientation or age, and apply a zero tolerance policy against any such discrimination or disrespect.
The organizers are committed to make this conference scientifically productive and to provide a collegial, inclusive, and enjoyable environment, free from any form of discrimination, bullying, harassment or retaliation.
Participants are required to behave professionally and avoid any inappropriate actions, comments or jokes based on individual characteristics such as ethnic origin, religion, nationality, disability, physical appearance, political stance, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.
We will not tolerate harassment of participants, staff, students, visitors and guests in any form. Harassment includes but is not limited to inappropriate or intimidating behavior and language, sustained disruption of talks or other events, unwelcome jokes or comments, inappropriate physical contact, sexual attention or innuendo, stalking, diffusion of photographs or recordings of an individual without consent.
All communication (both verbal and written) should be appropriate for a professional audience that includes a diverse range of backgrounds. Sexual or sexist language and imagery should not be used at any time.
Be kind to others, and treat each other with respect and consideration. Do not insult or put down other attendees.
Individuals asked to stop any inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately. Any attendees violating this code may be asked to leave the event at the sole discretion of the event organisers.
Any participant who wishes to report a violation of this policy or any other reason for discomfort caused by the conduct of conference attendees is invited to speak or contact, in confidence, one or several conference organizers.
